A good family weekend in central Israel is one quality activity a day, not three. Space Run VR in Rishon LeZion is open Sunday–Thursday 16:00–22:00; closed Friday and on Shabbat. So our slot is Thursday afternoon or evening — an opening to the weekend. It is worth reserving a spot in advance with the venue team.

The rule: one good activity a day
Three activities a day is too many. Pick one good activity, and in between — time at home, on the sofa, for an unplanned get-together. The kids won't remember lunch at the café; they'll remember the moment everyone laughed. You can't plan that, but you can leave room for it.
A sample plan
• Thursday afternoon or evening: 90 minutes at Space Run VR — an energetic start to the weekend. After a briefing of about 30 seconds, the full 90 minutes begin. • Friday: something outdoors — the beach, a forest or a museum. A few hours is enough (we're closed on Friday). • Saturday: friends, grandparents, cousins — no pressure and no plan.
What not to do
• Don't overload: a weekend full of activities is an exhausted weekend. • Don't fix everything: someone cancels, a child gets sick, it rains. Flexible plans win. • Don't overdo restaurants: one is nice, three is a heavy bill. • Don't skip fresh air: sometimes a simple picnic beats an expensive attraction.

• Price: ₪138 per participant for 90 minutes; for a family of four or more, a 5-entry pass (₪550) works out better. • Ages: from 7; ages 7–12 need an adult companion or parent/guardian approval. • Before you come: we recommend reserving a spot in advance with the venue team; at busy times there may be a wait. • Getting here: Stochi Complex, 20 Yosef Lishansky Blvd, Rishon LeZion — a short drive from Tel Aviv, Holon and Ness Ziona, with 2.5 hours of free parking in the complex car park.
